Nigeria police moves 14 commissioners, Mbu not affected  Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, MD Abubakar, has ordered the redeployment of fourteen Commissioners to commands and formations. States with new commissioners are Borno, Zamfara, Bayelsa and Ebonyi states. Rivers state Police commissioner, Mbu Joseph Mbu, who has been mired in controversy over his partisanship, was left unshaken, despite the calls by the National Assembly that he should be moved out of the state. The fourteen (14) newly redeployed CPs are:Lawal Tanko who goes to Borno state, Ibrahim Ahmed, Zamfara state, Hilary Okpara, Bayelsa state, Maigari Dikko, Ebonyi state.  Police IG Abubakar: moves 14 commissioners Adebayo Ajileye has been appointed police commissioner in charge of Inspectorate ‘E’ Department and Adeola Adeniji, now takes charge of Border patrol. Waheed salau is now the commissioner at the airport in Lagos, while Markus Danladi, is the police commissioner and Commandant of the Police College in Maiduguri, Borno state. Police Commissioner Tonye Ebitibituwa is now the CP Training ‘E’ Department, while Hyacinth M. Dagala is the deputy commandant of the Police Academy in Kano. Mr. Lawal Shehu is now the commissioner in charge of administration in the Force Headquarters, while Ibrahim Adamu was named deputy force secretary. Abdul Danwawu was appointed the commissioner in charge of armament and Salisu F. Abdullahi now heads X Squad as commissioner. The police IG urged the new men to step up the fight against all forms of criminality in Nigeria.
