Nine years ago today Raygun and I were married in Las Vegas. We took our vows with Elvis (although he was not the Elvis we had asked for, we wanted fat-jumpsuit-Elvis, but it was his day off and we got young-gold-lame-jacket-Elvis instead). He wore golfing shoes (Elvis the golfing years???) a badly-fitting wig and a jacket without shoulder pads that his mum had made for him. He told us that we must not step on each others blue suede shoes, nor indeed covet each others hound dog (didnt quite get that one). he sang three songs ( we sang along too, but to the wrong camera and so our wedding video mostly features the backs of our heads) and the entire ceremony was over in eight minutes. And at £200, with limo included, a right bargain for a wedding. It was absolutely joyous and wonderful and set the standard for all the gloriously mad and similarly joyous and wonderful stuff that the lovely wife and I have engaged in ever since. Thank you for your love and companionship, Raygun, you have made me a very happy man. Let there be Champagne!!!! Thank you maam
