Nobody has the power to make you happy. Nobody has the power to fulfill you. It is your job to find your own happiness and to develop true self love. So many people believe, If somebody falls in love with me, then I will be happy. The truth is: That can never happen because you started out from a state of unhappiness and a lack of self-love, then placed the responsibility on someone else to make you happy, which that person can never accomplish. It is so easy to point the fingers at someone else for our unhappiness. Operating from this train of thought can only leave us feeling victimized, rather than a victor. We must do the tough work, we must ask ourselves the tough questions, we must uncover our own limiting belief systems, heal them and create our own happiness... to truly fall deeply in love with ourselves... not from a place of narcissism, but of a place of personal respect, compassion and self worth.
