Noong araw nga, pag nagoorganize ako ng charity work sa bundok, tinatanong ako ng big client ko- bakit mo ba ginagawa ito? malaki ba ang kasalanan mo? Sabi ko wala naman, naisip ko lang kase mayayaman mga cliente ko eh im sure they want to share dahil maramio silang extra. Di ba tayo pwede gumawa ng good deed na walang kapalit or binabayaran? siguro ganun na ngayon(noon) ang mindset ng mga tao. pero di naman yata maganda yung ganun. alam mo noon, when my daughter used to go to a sosyal school, i never got tired of telling her things so that she remains grounded. na the real life is outside of her school. Minsan when we were driving to school, and stopped by a traffic light at McArthur (to Marisol) may namalimos sa side nya (passenger seat) na lalake, and i gave my daughter P5 to give to him. we saw him walked away fast, and maybe after 1 minute and stop pa din kami, we both saw him sat on the sidewalk, eating, holding a small supot of bread. my daughter and i got teary-eyed. and realized that-- he has been waiting for me for his meal. from then on, i never miss giving these people, they really need us.
