Not that I get on a box and proclaim much of anything on this group page but I will about this movie based on a phenomenal book. The book by Laura Hillenbrand is called Unbroken. Its the story of Louis Zamperini who grew up to become one of the best Olympic runners. He was teammates with Jesse Owens in Berlin and then went to serve at the outbreak of WWII as a pilot in the US Army Aircorp. Shot down he then endured weeks on the open ocean only then to be captured by Japan and endured torture at their hands. He is the only Olympic athlete to ever be held as a POW.
