Not to get all hocus pocus on you, but there is a deep rumbling - TopicsExpress

Not to get all hocus pocus on you, but there is a deep rumbling ancient humming presence to the earth here - the bumps called mountains and hills, the flatter spaces between called plateau - that almost drowns out the human clatter if you let it. I began to notice it as I drove south in Colorado, where the humans have plastered their lego world all up and down its flanks, and it really built as I headed west and up into the higher elevations and then south into New Mexico. So I find myself this morning in a Quality Inn shelter with heat and hot water and 200-count sheets that I kind of wish was not here - like a McDonalds in the Taj Mahal. Feeling, once more, the odd relationship between Earth and human. Whatever it is human may be contributing to this relationship is invisible to me now. It looks pretty unilateral from here. Ants, maggots, and vultures keep things cleaned up. What is it Im doing? Then again, I dont remember asking to be plunked down here furless and fangless, with an appetite for comfort. Later Ill go out into the streets and walk around on sacred stone (its everywhere beneath your feet wherever you are). Now Ill step into the hot shower and hum a song from the radio and think grateful thoughts and try to send them to places i dont comprehend.
