Nothing makes it easier for your kids to learn than injecting a bunch of ESL kids into the classroom! Who thinks bored, smart kids waiting around while illegals try to figure it out is the recipe for pulling our education system out of the gutter? I remember it like it was yesterday... sitting around in class waiting while the teacher took extra time to work with the Mexicans who didnt even care. Good times in my SoCal high school in the 90s. It was so bad, I remember it was my buddys reason for opposing Schwarzenggers push for Prop 74 in 2005, which looked to extend teachers probation period before tenure was granted from 2 to 5 years so the state could move out the teachers who were not performing. Teachers, like my friend, from schools laden with illegals argued it was unfair to judge based on performance because the Mexicans overwhelming their schools could care less about learning, while teachers from schools laden with Americans had kids who cared. I remember this worthless Mexican kid laughing in our teachers face saying he didnt have to pay attention, because he was going to work in his uncles tire shop. No respect. No desire. Just a rude, little, entitled asshole. Problem was, he wasnt alone. They filled our school. And I cant imagine its gotten any better today.
