Notice how one of the police cruisers is parked in the middle of South 20th Street (unnecessarily, in my opinion) at the bottom of 2 very slippery hills? Notice how the vehicle that dares to approach them does so only on the wrong side of the street to avoid sliding into those cruisers? I decided not to venture any closer for fear of sliding into them. Later this same day, a couple miles away, an OPD officer was injured when a vehicle hit his cruiser, which was blocking traffic near an accident involving a garbage truck and tow truck, etc. At Bryan High we started reminding kids to stay safe but I also hope our OPD and BPD officers all stay safe, too. All of them. Even if any of them might require discipline at any point in the future, Id like them to be in one piece when that happens. So please stay safe. :)
