Nova Scotia: Tropical Cyclone Information Statement is still in effect. There is a mix of sun and cloud on the mainland while in Cape Breton it is overcast and there are a few showers here and there. Current temperatures range from 9°c but feeling like 5°c where there are overcast skies in Pleasant Bay to 22°c with just a few clouds in Terrance Bay. On the mainland today we can expect to see a mix of sun and cloud with the possibility of a few showers along the north areas tonight but the rest of the mainland should see partly cloudy skies. Cape Breton will see showers this morning as Arthur continues to move out of the area but this afternoon you will see a mix of sun and cloud. Tonight will bring partly cloudy skies and the possibility of showers. Winds will still be gusty throughout the day coming from the west/southwest ranging from 30 to 50kms/hr gusting from 50 to 70 kms/hr and will continue to diminish overnight. Temperatures today will range from 20°c to 25°c. The overnight temperatures will range from 15°c to 16°c. It is sunny with just a few clouds in the sky here in Lantz this morning. The temperature is 19.4°c with the wind currently at 10kms/hr but has been as high as 30kms/hr this morning. The humidity is at 52% and the barometric pressure is at 100.1kPa. There are still many people without power and lots of cleaning up to today. Check on your neighbours, especially the elderly ones and lets hope the crews from NS Power get things up and running quickly. #BackyardWeather (Stefanie)
