November 3, 2001 was the last show that the original lineup of BR5-49 played together. The guys onstage knew it, but no one else in the room was aware of the fact that this would be the last time the band would play Me n Opie for more than ten years. There was one more appearance on The Grand Ole Opry and then that was it until the guys reunited to play a show together in 2012 in Nashville. This was in Durango, Colorado at The San Juan Room. Me n Opie and Little Ole Wine Drinker Me were performed to an enthusiastic crowd. The band played an extra hour that night. ....It was a helluva ride.
