Now Hiring – Communication Lead – LMS – Milwaukee, WI – PMC13646 Job Summary This position’s primary focus is to develop and execute an integrated communication plan for the HDU Online Refresh project. The position is responsible for the creation, coordination and implementation of communication content and messaging across both employee and dealership audiences as outlined in the Communications Strategy document. An executable plan has previously been created, but needs to be re-assessed against the Change Impact Assessment. Responsibilities include supporting the project team with stakeholder communications as well as executing the integrated communication strategy tactics, working across the company to manage and coordinate timing and release of communications across multiple audiences and channels. This position reports to the Corporate Communication function, and will sit with the HDU Online Refresh project team. Day-to-day guidance will be provided by the HDU Online Refresh project team lead, with general oversight provided by Corporate Communication. Key Responsibilities Communication Contractor will interact with a variety of stakeholders via various communication mediums (written and/or verbal) and will be required to turn complex concepts into actionable communications. Project Management Contractor will manage the day-to-day implementation of the HDU Online Refresh communication strategy tactics, including developing a detailed plan, developing messages and related content, working with internal stakeholders to deliver messages to the appropriate audiences and ensuring the plan is being followed or adjusted as required. Content Creation Contractor develops content and messaging for a variety of uses and channels. Responsible for ensuring consistent messaging that resonates with and ultimately builds advocacy for the learning management system among multiple stakeholder groups (dealers and employees). Develop content in collaboration with corporate communication and others to ensure clear, accurate, and appealing content. Relationship Management Contractor builds relationships and collaborates with key stakeholders on the project team, in corporate communication, in other business functions and at other facilities to ensure consistency of messaging across all communication channels and effective execution of the plan. Team Support and Collaboration Contractor provides input and collaboration on all aspects of communication planning and execution for the HDU Online Refresh project. This includes project team and stakeholder communications, as well as other relevant change management support tasks. Collaboration and support for team members will be essential. Job Specifications: This position requires: • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Organizational Communications, Change Management or related communication/marketing discipline • a minimum of four years of experience in communication; including proven business communication experience planning, writing, and editing for internal and external audiences • Solid written (business, web and journalistic style) and verbal communication skills, with a good working knowledge of print, editing, graphic design, photographic and online communications. • Solid presentation skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations • The ability to quickly grasp and understand the “big picture” and convey complex ideas in a clear and understandable way • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office products • the ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple work streams effectively; • Attention to detail • Flexibility to work in an interactive environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and change. • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and effectively work under tight deadlines on a regular basis • Ability to work in a team environment and be responsive to stakeholder requests while maintaining a high level of integrity and focusing on agree-upon expectations and outcomes • Be effective communicating with all levels of the organization, and be able to successfully present information in both positive and negative circumstances. Experience in a unionized environment a plus. This position is responsible to act as a resource for the Kansas City Facility for development, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of all safety policies. Job Duties: The candidate should have the ability to work with the Union Safety Coordinators, Joint Labor/Management Safety Steering Committees, safety teams, test facilities personnel and safety groups to proactively identify and resolve safety issues. Additionally the candidate will work closely with site security and facilities personnel to ensure all safety issues are addressed in conjunction with the specific site’s policies and procedures. The position would also be responsible for developing and implementing safety training as appropriate. Required Skills & Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering or Occupational Safety and Health Management or an equivalent degree, plus a minimum five (5) years of experience in an industrial environment required. Knowledgeable of NIOSH lifting equation and basic ergonomic concepts. Must be able to work in a union environment. Needs high energy and good Interpersonal skills. Must possess experience in a Material Handling Department. Factory and office. Mon.-Thur., 7:30pm to 6:00am. This is an opportunity with a prestigious company.
