O.K. heres the first update of the day ..and its a doooozeeee ... :D Not long ago some very special kids learned about Bed, Bark & Beyond and Mom started following us on face book and sharing our Journey with these kids .. well the kids wanted so badly to be a part of things they decided to take action.. they had a bake sale and set up a lemonade stand and raised 62.00 for the dogs.. they came to the Burgers & Barkers event on Sunday Oct. 12th and presented us with the check, but it didnt end there.. they asked if we would come to the YMCA where they attend a boys class twice a week that teaches self awareness and confidence and talk about the dogs and tell some of their stories ..Well of course we said YES :) Bed Bark & Beyond will be in attendance on Thursday Oct. 30th from 4 pm til 515 with one or two of our very very special rescued dogs to help us teach the kids some very important things about rescue and how important it is to be a responsible pet owner . It has not been decided for sure but our choices are Rocko & Shell Dog if we take two dogs and Lou if we take only one. Rocko was an owner surrender ,Shell Dog came from a rescue after giving birth while in rescue and Lou is a three time Death Row dog.. All of which belong to Mark & I and have become our personal dogs . So we know them well and have had them in this type of environment many many times . ***We have gone the extra mile to ensure everyones safety and have been approved on all accounts. and thats why it TOOK SOOOO LONG TO MAKE THIS ANNOUNCEMENT !!!! so excited right now you dont even know :D
