OBSERVATION: I have been scrolling through the various posts on my news feed today. For the last few months Ive noticed a trend of violence. Ive watched, in horror, a woman get shot in public by her ex boyfriend, all types of fights, shovel to the back of the head teenage girl fight, mans face wacked up by a machete in the e.r., POLICE brutality and unnecessary use of force on any and all people, and just random acts of violence. QUESTION: How unrealistic is the theory of the movie The Purge? Seeing all this violence and even murder recorded and put on social media.... HAVE we really become that callous as a society? How would you feel if the PURGE was real?
