OK, Here we go. The snow we have got is lovely, unfortunately the ground underneath is very wet and wouldnt take much more than an hour or 2 to ski off and wreck if we open tomorrow day. The temperature is already -2 and looking to get colder during the night so this is what we have decided to do- We will open for evening floodlit skiing only (unless we get more snow), the forecast is suggesting we are due very cold nights into the new year. We will not be opening this evening as we have pisted the ski area but need it to freeze / firm up overnight. We will open tomorrow evening but only if enough people let us know they are coming up so LET US KNOW- weekend evenings are historically quiet which is why we normally dont open Sat / Sun nights.
