OK, I know little to nothing about quadcopters, but I am ready to learn. Anybody have one? I am just now beginning to gather a bit of information on them, since a photographers dream is to be able to hover in the air — or, at least, have the camera do so — to get the right angle to for a great shot of a scene. If you search the Internet, youd think everyone else in the world already has one, because there are many brands and models from which to choose. Where have I been? They vary in cost from less than a hundred dollars to way more than a thousand bucks for high resolution setups with GPS, image stabilizers and such. Id like to hear from anyone with experience with quadcopters with top quality cameras. Is there some sort of club in the Louisville area perhaps? Basically, as you can tell from the photo, a quadcopter is sort of a helicopter device with still/video camera attached and operated by remote control. Seems like it might be worth investing in, but I need to learn more about these. Im sure someone already has maps to tanning decks in sorority house back yards!
