OK, Im gonna put this out as clear as I can with as much reason as I can, and I sincerely hope that it doesnt offend you or anyone else. First off, its a terrible shame that both of these young men are dead. Comparing Martin to Brown is impossible from any legitimate position at this point. The difference between the two is so distinct that AT THIS POINT a true apples to apples comparison is impossible. To address my concerns with the martin case first; I agree that young man did not have to die, in my opinion, that situation could have been deescalated by either party involved. Unfortunately for both people it was not. I do believe that at the climax of the altercation, Zimmerman was justified in his action, and that is what mattered from a legal standpoint. Again I believe both had the opportunity to simply walk away and that would have presented a better outcome. As far as Brown in Ferguson, I honestly cant speak on it either way until evidence is made public. I refuse to take any of the points or alleged facts presented by the media as truth as they are proven to be full of shit. If one was to listen to what was said as gospel from CNN then that cop should be drawn and quartered, and the opposite if one did the same with fox news. Mainstream media has a track record of knowingly distorting the truth in an effort to generate buzz. I suspect the truth lies somewhere in between the two perspectives. So we are then left with the issues that regardless of position, absolutely require attention. As I said due to a clear lack of publicly available info, I have to leave Browns case out. So we need to then cover a logical revision to Floridas gun laws, and then we need to reconsider the powers we allow the police, the oversight or lack thereof they are subject to, and finally why we allow the media to intentionally distort the truth for the sake of ratings. Im going to take a breather for a moment and await an initial response from you before you show up at the club and want to fight me.
