OKAY FOLKS .... Tomorrow is IT... It is THE LAST day for Supreme Court rulings for this year. The National Labor Relations Board case is up, but the BIG case we have been waiting for is the HOBBY LOBBY case, about whether a for-profit corporation can hold a religious belief and be allowed to NOT include contraceptives in their insurance plan because it offends the companys beliefs. Supporters of the law fear a high court setback on the contraception mandate will lead to other healthcare challenges on religious grounds, such as do-not-resuscitate orders and vaccine coverage. More broadly, many worry giving corporations religious freedom rights could affect laws on employment, safety, and civil rights.
