OKAY heres my 10 true facts about my life. 1. my earliest memory was at my third birthday party because I recall holding up three fingers when people asked me my age and everybody hugging and kissing me and lots of laughter. 2. my job as a scientific equipment salesman provided me the opportunity to talk with two Nobel Prize winning scientists. I sold 14 systems to one of them, the other purchased nothing. 3. my first child became fascinated with trainwatching when he was 4 years old, today he has 15 years of seniority and drives trains for CSX. 4. when he was 5 years old, my second child tried out a set of drums at a music store and played so well that all the music teachers came out of their booths to watch. When he saw them watching he walked away and has never played drums since. 5. I recall my brother apologizing while he taught me to bat a baseball, because he could only teach me righthanded but I was a lefty. I still bat righty today. 6. In Sunday School, I was awarded perfect attendance pins six years in a row. 7. In high school I helped form a band to play for talent night. We called ourselves Ozymandius and the Steel City Wheels I played harmonica, and we did three songs: Yardbirds Im a Man, Rolling Stones Mona, and Johnny Riverss Memphis. 8. In 1970 I had my hair shaved off by the US Army and grew a mustache in response. I finally shaved my mustache on New Years Day 2000. 9. The Army stationed me in Germany, where I purchased an old Opel Record for $250., drove it all over Germany, Austria, and northern Italy for 14 months, and then sold the car for $200. 10. I just realized the songs I played in high school all went back to Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, and Bo Diddley.
