#ONLY_IEM_PEOPLE_INTERESTED_IN_FOOTBALL pay heed...please This Spring, we the students of IEM(un-official) are organizing a small tournament dedicated to the game we all love, Football. Okay. So here it is: Total Teams - 6 Squad - 12 [2 fixed are Captain and Manager] *(Manager is the VC) 80 Players list. 10 players to be bought from the Purse. Format of the auction: 1)Each Captain/Manager is allotted $100 million purse. 2)Keeping in mind the total purse, they bid for the players. *3)Chalk out 8 players from the 80. Theyre marketed as Star Players. 4)Twist: Star Players are auctioned last. So the captains need to build the team keeping in mind they dont overshoot the $100m. 5)Base prize for Star Players - $15m. 6)Base prize for others - $5m. Bidding increments will be as follows: bids upto $10m - increments of $500,000 bids from $10m to $25m - increments of $1m bids from $25m to $50m - increments of $5m bids above $50m - auctioneers discretion 72 players divided into 6 groups of 12 players. Break after each group of bidding for captains and managers to re-evaluate their tactics. Final 8 Star Players auctioned at the end. Players for whom no bids are received when they are initially presented for auction will be placed in a final set and will be re-presented for auction once all of the initial sets have been concluded. [**Transfer possible at end of each season** (Still work needs to be done on the process of transfer). Doesnt matter this Season(Sem) though.] WEll thats the platform to show what you can or cannot do within the boundaries of the field. Some people think football is a matter of life and death.
