October 9 1993. A beautiful blue, sunny sky with white dumpling clouds scattered about. A light breeze ... and 35 degrees! I hear so many people wish for a "perfect" wedding day, but we humans tend to remember (and focus on, and discuss) the crashes or tramas in our lives MUCH more than the good times. Consequently, the less than perfect temperature on my wedding day 20 years ago, made that wonderful day UNFORGETTABLE! Our first date 20 years ago, Cait and I went to the Natural History Museum at BYU. (Its a metal skinned garage just west of the stadium) A man approached us and asked if he could take our picture for a brochure the museum was producing. "Yes! Of course!" Yesterday, at the same museum, another man with a camera approached us ... he was a retired neural scientist, jack Seventh day Adventist ( his words ) He wanted to know if we were Mormons and if we believed in the fossils we were looking at. Yes and yes. It was a most enjoyable 10 minute conversation and another wonderful memory flag. ...and just another quick aside ... the number on the chair lift Cait and I rode to the top of Sundance ski resort to look at the fall colors? 20. :-).
