Off to the hotel. Its a 45 min drive so when we get there I send Albert in to check in and I have a cig and he comes right back out and says our room was canceled because it isnt [aid for. WHAT NOW! I have a receipt in my hand that says paid in full. So I go in and its not that we havent paid but Expedia that didnt pay the hotel, their card is declined. Here we go again. I called customer service and of course they dont answer. Shirley finally gets a lady on the phone by calling the new reservation line and or course they do answer. I explain what is going on and she calls the lady at the hotel. She explains it again and they fax her a new credit card number which doesnt work either. I still have customer service on the phone so I told her it didnt work and she calls the hotel again. She gives them another number and wants to end our phone call because she has other people to help. I told her no she is staying on the line with me until this is figured out. We finally get a good credit card and its all taken care of. We get a different room for that night and the room I booked the next day. Now Im wondering why Expedia charged me $640 but the charges we get from the hotel is only $550 so where is the rest of our money. I will take this up at home because I am completely out of patience. Thank god his family is very nice and we had a great time at the reunion. Now we leave tomorrow and I hope there is no more of this crap. I just want to be home.
