Ogden Canyon Update! The following are planned activities for the UDOT chip seal project on SR-39 through Ogden Canyon between Harrison Blvd. in Ogden and Pineview Dam. Please note that due to weather conditions, emergency situations or equipment/supply issues, schedules are subject to change. Crews have completed the majority of the seal coat over the new chip surface through the canyon. Due to weather concerns, resurfacing operations have been suspended for the rest of the day (Tuesday, Aug. 12). Weather permitting this afternoon, crews will paint temporary roadway striping from approximately 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. This is a moving operation and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. Completion of the seal coat will resume in the next few days as weather conditions permit. Further updates will be provided as schedules are determined.
