Oh what a night! My mom is going to Curacao tomorrow for the funeral of my deceased grandma. Im a bit bummed out, because I cant join her and pay my last respect. 1st because the tickets are really expensive!! 2nd because I want to remember her the way she was. And not cold and blank in a coffin. But bubbly, funny, witty, naughty and crazy. My brothers and I wrote her a letter and we all had to laugh! 3rd because I have to work. I know she would want me to do what I love, because thats what she always told me! Do what you love and dont let anybody stop you! So Oma, Im going to make you proud! The day of your funeral Ill be hosting the newest filmfestival in town called Da Bounce Urban Film Festival - DBUFF Its going to be such a fun 3 days, full of amazing movies and entertainment. Im super hyped that I get to interview the talented director Patrick Ian Polk about the must see movie Blackbird. I was blessed to interview a few people at the Kwaku Festival about their favourite black movie/actor. Check it out!
