Ok I read a comment someone made about western sd farmers and the fact they are whining and what are we supposed to do give them welfare..... Obviously this ignorant person is a city person (and to my friend that is friends with this person Im sorry but it burned my ass) and obviously hasnt lost 30000-100000 bucks in one weekend. Maybe it doesnt bother this person as maybe they are vegetarians or whatever. As farmers we arent able necessarily to save a years income to prepare for a disaster sometimes its all we can do to keep our family fed, clothed, and housed. Yes these farmers and ranchers know the risks but still take them to help feed their families and others as do all of us. They do it for the love of the job which I doubt that this person can say they do a job. They will probably all recover one way or another as I have never met anyone as resilient as a farmer/rancher. BUT they still need our prayers! Maybe next time this person goes to buy a hamburger and has to cough up a little extra they will realize it but I doubt it........... Ok rant over- but if you care please say a prayer for all of the people in western sd that they will all be resilient and bounce back!!
