Ok everyone, just want to throw this out there in the nicest way possible...please NO negative comments abt the no makeup selfie pics being posted. While everyone is aware that the act of posting your bare face on FB doesnt actually cure cancer, it has made a huge impact in contributing to the cause. Cancer Research UK, alone, has raised millions of dollars just in the past few days as this craze first began to go viral. The point is only to raise awareness publicly in hopes that someone somewhere will see it and want to donate to the real cause- cancer research. While it may just be a useless attempt according to the opinions of some, it does actually mean something to some of us. I lost my mother to breast cancer and know there are several others who have either lost, or know someone who has lost someone to this disease. If you dont want to participate no one is being forced to do so. Just please keep the negativity to yourselves.
