Ok friends, nurses, doctors, or whoever has had surgery and may know..... two questions: 1.) Is it normal to be spitting blood 2 days after surgery? Im guessing they scratched my throat when they put in/took out the breathing tube. The left side of my throat is so swollen, I can barely drink, let alone eat! If so, what makes this better.... Ive tried hot tea, smoothies, Gatorade (the salt getting in the cut from the Gatorade felt worse than surgery itself:/ ugg!) Etc.... 2.) I have the worst back pain imaginable! ( my abdomen is usually cut wide open for surgery. This time I had 5 seperate one-inch incisions, to avoid all the mesh from prev surgery) is it possible that all the air they inflate causes this back pain and pain up into my shoulders!?
