Ok guys, I have a Chinese exchange student coming to stay. What sort of things could I cook for him that he might enjoy? I dont want to cook fake Chinese, because it would be nothing like the real thing. But I dont want too much of a culture shock for him. Any ideas for recipes that would suit a Chinese palate? I googled Chinese breakfast, apparently they eat hot things like dim sims and fried rice for brekkie, so I thought I might make porridge and quiches for breakfasts, something hot but still australian. And Ill pull out the rice cooker and always have rice heating I guess...
