Ok lets talk a little bit of technique FFASC folks. Some time in the workouts its hard to find examples of what we are talking about. With that said Im hard on everyone, in regard to having an identical set up- pull(s) and catches exclusively in your Power Clean. Trusting your set-up, pull & rapid hip extension over brute strength, let your hips do the talking vs your arms.. Lets take a look at what Im talking about 1st Power Clean is text book, from set up to the catch, hips are a little high to start ,but Ill take it 2nd Power Clean ,Set up the same , gets tall, excellent shrug ,pretty fast elbows, but watch the feet. They jump out, WIDE doesnt mean achieving depth, instead of keeping the same base in the first one, theres an override👉 technique takes a back seat to intensity. BUT Fast Elbows and a Great Pull save the lift. 3rd Clean, failed .. Set up is good, notice the rapid hip extension but notice the elbows are slow and come to a stop and take a look at the feet. The chain is broken and zero power can be generated because of the abandoning of the necessary movement patterns. Cuts the turn over phase short and the weight falls back to the ground.
