Ok...so I just threw together a poem, really quick. It all came together at once, in a sort of freestyle. So, as usual, Im posting the rough draft, exactly as it came out, without making any corrections (and as I read it over, I can see that there are several, that need to be made). It took me all of 30 seconds to write this, from off the top of my head. In fact, the only time I stopped typing from off the top of my head, is when I was deciding how to write the last line. Anyway, this is a raw lump of clay, that I will hopefully one day, sculpt into a finished piece. For now, here is the rough draft. Tell me what you think. I havent come up with a name, as of yet, so for now Ill just refer to it, as my latest poem. I hope you all enjoy this: Last night I dreamed of you, you were so perfect, I wanted cry. I dreamt that you could live, as long as I would agree to die. Unflinchingly I agreed, as I watched them cut down a tree, Hours passed as I watched the men carve the wood into the shape of a t. I laid down upon the cross, and I was quickly nailed down to it, You watched the whole process and laughed, as you saw the cruel men do it. For 13 hours or more, I screamed out in tortured pain, You walked away, and left me there, to let me die in vain. You never cared a bit, even as they dragged me off to crucify, Last night I dreamed of you, you were so perfect, I wanted to cry.
