Ok the growing of Peanuts obtain uncooked peanuts still in shell from health food shop or even pet shop. Lightly fill a three inch pot with moist multi purpose compost and make small hole half inch deep into it. Carefully remove outer shell from peanut and carefully take one of the nuts leaving the fine casing on it and place hole and gently cover with a little more compost. Water sparingly then place in clear polythene bag and seal place on warm light windowsill. Germination usually takes ten to fourteen days. Alternatively place pot in propagator and keep at eighteen degrees C. Do not exclude light. Once germinated keep in light warm position for a few weeks before re-potting into large pot or grow bag. Keep moist but avoid over watering. Its Shoots from the flower that enter the soil which produces the peanut/tuber. Have Fun
