Okay! I need someone to really tell me what I am doing wrong. I begged and pleaded with the state to bring me additional help for Donnell. I got it. I got an amazing case mgr, parental support person and behavior modification therapist. They are all great. Donnell continues to disrespect dad, continues to disrespect me, puts his hands on people, stole a phone from someone at B&G Club, destroyed the phone and then steals money from me (all since Saturday). I call these amazing people and ask them what to do, and I am told that she feels sorry for him, that I am labeling him and giving up on him. I HAVE NEVER LABELED HIM OR GIVEN UP ON HIM. I am his biggest fan and cheerleader. He needs to know what real consequences are though. Ive used my arsenal of consequences to no avail. Ive given him incentives which he doesnt care about. Ive done everything. What else can I do? I need their help and am chastised for asking for it. I am so tired, frustrated and angry. People who ask for help cant get it. Please pray FB!
