Okay, everyone, it seems like I was given some numbers earlier this week, and I had no idea what this was all about. I finally got the answer today when another friend Kim Abbott Hunter) gave me #15. By the way, I thought the game was going from 1 to 10, Kim!!!! You sure got me there, LOL! :) Anyway, here I am: #1 - my favorite color is PINK yet I have not even one clothing in pink #2 - I speak French, English fluently. I was able to speak Russian and Italian, and took Latin for 8 years but it is now all forgotten because of lack of practice. #3 - I would love to be able to learn sign language. That has been a dream of mine since I was 28, yet I have not done it. I took classes in Utah one year, and Cindy Huge gave me private lessons at my house years before other members of my LDS ward started a class with her. Time, oh time, were art thou??? I am too busy, I guess. #4 - I would love to be able to play the piano. I took 2 years with Jeanine Smith Denton when I first started being her visiting teacher, it was like 13 years ago, and then I got busy with our newest addition Diamond Goodman and my mom coming to live with us. Hopefully, someday, I will be able to get back to it... #5 - I love sewing and I got the best teacher in the world, my mom!!! I started sewing real clothes for my dolls when I was 4, not just some fabric with holes for arms, but the real things. My mom kept telling me all these years that I was a very patient student, and that I told her from day one that I wanted to make real clothes. #6 - I was never trained in anything crafty, besides sewing. If I want to do something, I just do it. It comes naturally. Heavenly Father blessed me with the ability to figure out how to make things if I study them in my mind. Because of that gift, I know how to draw, paint, leather carve, decorate a home, paint murals, bake and decorate cakes, sew, design clothes, etc. #7 - Yet, I cannot make cookies to save my life!!! #8 - My largest cake was for 1400 people for the St. Louis Temple dedication services. I was also flown to San Diego to make a wedding cake for a client. #9 - I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) when I was 16. I was baptized in Paris, France, after having had a dream one year before of being in a meeting in a chapel . At that time, the chapel was under construction. When I first saw it one year later, as I was stepping in, I described it to my sisters who were members. I had no idea about Sacrament meetings and people giving talks, but I told them exactly what would happen next with all the details, who would be talking and the subjects of the talks. Guess what! I was right! #10 - I taught the restoration of the gospel 2 months after my baptism to over 200 students at my high school, all at once, after my philosophy teacher read a paper of mine about it. He assembled his students with other students from his colleagues and for 2 hours I stood up in front of them all for a presentation, in the assembly hall. The next day, I again stood in front of them and answered their questions. #11 - I was part of a group of 20 youth members to try out the seminary program (Scriptures study program) for our Church in France, before its formal implementation. #12 - I was previously married but became a widow at age 30. #13 - I met my husband Stephen Goodman 3 months after my husbands passing and we got married a year later, a week after he came back from his mission. We got only one week to know each other, kind of. 25 years later, we are still happily married and keep on going strong. #14 - I am terrified of height, yet I love to be on top of mountains. #15 - I lived in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for a year as a nanny for 6 children when I was 25.
