Okay just finished the US version of Being Human... what the hell was that nonsense? The first couple of seasons were okay then seasons 3 and 4 just got more and more ridiculous and pretty much everybody was killing everybody and everybody was evil and they just made up shit as they went with no sense of how to create a fantasy world with actual RULES. They seriously magicd their way out of everything, even if it made no sense, contradicted earlier things, was too easy of a way out, and they didnt explain it. Like I cant count the number of stupid magic things that happened in Sallys storyline that made NO sense and wasnt explained in ANY WAY. It just happened and were left to just accept that it happened because we just saw it happen, not because it has any kind of internal logic or follows any set rules. This was why things kept getting more and more over-the-top ridiculous because the writers painted themselves into a corner where when literally ANYTHING can happen, there are no real stakes anymore. And when there are no real stakes anymore you just keep doing bigger and bigger insane and zany things hoping the audience is blown away by the OMG weirdness and not realizing it has absolutely zero substance. And Im usually not a hater. Ill put up with a LOT of ridiculousness on a television series without complaining or being a whiny hater, but seriously... this was so stupid.
