Okay, not being judge mental Im just curious. Why in the world do people spend $200k+ on a home in a subdivision with houses so close together you can smell it when your neighbor goes to the bathroom? And then also pay HOA dues?? Why would anyone want to do that?! Wouldnt it make more sense to buy a home on a small amount of land where your kids could actually run and play? Or if something were to happen to the home you still have land to rebuild? And if your dropping that on a home why in the world are you going to pay HOA dues for them to tell you what you can and can not do on YOUR property?! And buying a condo or apartment at the same price??? They are tiny and even less privacy than a house in a subdivision. I seriously want to know what goes thru peoples heads when purchasing a home like this. It just doesnt make sense. Please, somebody help me out!
