Okro Mouth The term okro mouth is a local terminology which we use to describe a telltale; someone who delights in spreading stories about people. Have you heard so and so is having a marital problem? So and so has miscarried, so and so has....? and the list goes on. Leviticus 19 says, Thou shalt not go up and down as a tale bearer amongst my people. God frowns at tale bearing, irrespective of whether the tale is true or not. Matthew 1:18-19 reads, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily (or secretly) When Mary became pregnant under strange circumstances, Joseph kept the information to himself. He did not go about town saying, “Have you heard my fiancé is pregnant with another man?” God described him as a just man for that. Remember, just people do not have an Okro mouth, so keep your mouth shut!
