On 13/03/14 two women Malipolelo Boutu and Mamotsóane Khiba, appeared before Resident Magistrate Rantara for failing to abide by their bail conditions not to interfere with crown witnesses. The evidence is that accused, who are school teachers (Accused No.1 an acting principal at Masaleng High School and Accused No.2 a teacher at Masaleng Primary School), are facing a charge of Assault Common against Masaleng Primary School principal and were granted bail pending trial before Thaba Tseka Magistrate Court. That one of the conditions was that they should not interfere with crown witnesses. That accused, despite that condition went to some witnesses homes who are students at the said schools asking their parents that they need to tell those witnesses what to say in court. That however, the parents did not allow them to meet those witnesses. Accuseds bail were estreated and remanded in custody pending trial. The case is set to proceed on 25/03/14.
