On April 28, 2014 at approximately 2:15 AM, Mount Union Police assisted the ambulance with an incident on South Division Street. On April 28, 2014 at approximately 3:29 AM, Mount Union Police assited the ambulance with an incident on West Water Street. On April 28, 2014 at approximately 3:58 AM, Mount Union Police were requested to check on an open door at a West Water Street residence. The door was found to be secure. On April 28, 2014 at approximately 6:30 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a neighbor dispute on West Market Street. On April 28, 2014 at approximately 10:45 PM, Mount Union Police investigated suspicious noises on South Washington Street. On April 28, 2014 at approximately 11:09 PM, Mount Union Police were called to a South Division Street residence for a report of a group of unwanted individuals in the hallway. The building was searched and the group had left the area. On April 29, 2014 at approximately 6:48 PM, Mount Union Police were notified of an ongoing act of vandalism at Lower Municipal Park. As a result of the investigation, Mount Union Police filed citations for Criminal Mischief against three Mount Union juvenile males, aged 13, 14, and 15. One of the parents of the children later had the child sand the picnic table to repair the damages. On April 29, 2014 at approximately 7:31 PM, Mount Union Police were called to Diven Park for a report of suspicious activity. The parent was warned about the childrens use of an airsoft gun in the Borough Park. On April 29, 2014 at approximately 6:18 AM, Mount Union Police were called to check on a suspicious vehicle on the EBT railroad property west of Lafayette Street. The vehicle was found to be one of the maintenance workers for the railroad. On April 30, 2014 at approximately 5:20 PM, a concerned parent brough a child to the Mount Union Police station after finding that the child had stolen an item from a North Jefferson Street business. The business was contacted and the item was paid for. The business did not wish to pursue charges for Retail Theft as they were happy the parent was teaching the child the right lesson. On April 30, 2014 at approximately 5:30 PM, Mount Union Police investigated a report of harassment on East Shirley Street. On April 30, 2014 at approximately 8:27 PM, Mount Union Police responded to a commercial burglary alarm at a West Shirley Street business. The alarm was found to have been set off accidentally by an employee.
