On December 15th, the GUARDIAN Battalion kicked off their morning with a timed 4 mile run accomplished by the Brigade Commander, Colonel Thomas Nguyen. The goal was to complete the 4 miles in under 36:00; with our highly motivated soldiers and staff racing against the clock, our battalion came in at the finish line in just under 34:15! Afterwards, Colonel Nguyen huddled up the battalion on the softball field for an AAR, congratulating the GUARDIAN battalion for their success. Concluding the morning, Colonel Nguyen and CSM Carr held a State of Brigade presentation in the gym for our battalion. Touching base on topics like SHARP, the importance of our mission, and what we hope to see in the future for this brigade. Colonel Nguyen and CSM Carr also acknowledged selected soldiers: PFC Carlson (HHB), PFC Tramel (Alpha BTRY), SPC Shonrasin (Chalrie BTRY), SPC Wilmot (Delta BTRY), and SPC Espinoza (Echo BTRY), for their outstanding performance and dedication to this battalion. Thank you Colonel Nguyen for showing your everlasting support, and thanks to the selected soldiers for all you have done for this battalion. STAND OR DIE!
