On Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, wife Nancy and I attended the annual Lihue Chapter of the Amer. Assoc. Of Retired People(AARP) annual luncheon hosted by a Long Term Assisted- Care Hospital facility. About 30 of the over 50 year old bunch enjoyed a bountiful meal and shared good times, held a meeting and took pictures. AARP in Lihue is an active group with the homeless, the have nots, recycling, beach clean-ups and volunteering to assist with whatever thruout the community, especially with the senior center. Pictured is the group, the group at the table, a couple of our leaders, the menu of the meal provided and of course, Nancy and myself.
