On Tuesday, September 23rd, at approximately 12.30 p.m., according to incoming reports a fight had broken out between a student from the Sundial School and another young man hanging around the school area. The situation got very serious when numerous bystanders for unknown reasons got involved in the fight causing the Central Dispatch to send several patrols to the scene to break up the fight. At the scene officers intervened in the situation but those involved in the fight turned on the officers causing the officers to use some force to get the situation under control. Even parents of one of the students got involved and stated that he did not approve of the way his son was handled by police. A total of five persons were arrested in this case for public violence.
