On a very HAPPY, life-affirming note...Kates bridal shower yesterday morning was awesome...!! It was just as it SHOULD be..an intimate gathering of two dozen or so family members and dear friends, around a table full of fun food and mimosas...everybody introduced themselves and were super-friendly, we played game after game, told a lot of fun stories about the soon-to-be married couple.(.we have ALL decided nobody is more SICKENINGLY in love than Spencer and Kate! LOL!), Cortney had previously videotaped Spencer answering 20 questions about themselves, and then, after asking Kate the questions LIVE she, went to the tape to got SPENCERS answers...a rollicking good time! (Guess what...she doesnt know his SHOE size!LOL) It was an old school type of gathering in a lovely NYC apartment (thanks to Jessica Waxman for her hospitality) and to Kates mom and sister and of course Cortney for putting this thing together! A definite highlight of my summer...I truly can NOT wait till the wedding! (AND GUESS WHAT? Another ELPHABA was there...THE Elphaba from WICKED...only SHE didnt have makeup behind her ears like I did! LOL!) Such a warm and talented group of folks (YES we had some very handsome boys there, too! )..good times!!
