On proper decorum during holy mass: Use of gadgets should be discouraged during the celebration of holy mass. It is called holy for a reason. Even ringing of emergency calls could disrupt fellow parishioners from their meditation. At least, be discreet to go outside to attend your calls. But when you see parents allowing their kids to play their fave e-games on their ipads while the Lords Prayer is sung, that is downright disrespectful to the house of the Lord. In a sense, children are taught that its okay to do so during mass as long as they behave. Whatever happened to the sanctity of what we Catholics call the highest form of prayer ? And many people believe that the modern generation desperately needs spanking ?? Guess what. There are also parents out there who need some good old spanking! They come in good numbers I tell you.
