On the Wall, for Zion’s sake For intelligent consideration: Heaven is no resting place. God is not at rest. The Redeemer is not at peace. But, there are no busy-bodies in Heaven. Every movement considered, every step taken is meant for the securing of righteousness in Zion. Every redemptive action, brought forth from the courts of Heaven, is set forth for the salvation of men and women “of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and languages” – for those many who properly relate to Zion. Men and women are chosen as well as positioned for the sake of a continuous stirring in Heaven. These men and women – Heaven calls them both “watchmen” and “remembrancers” – are endowed, able to watch and discern. Theirs is an ability to stay on duty without pause, intermissions or breaks. Their only focus is Zion, the eternal city – the place of rest on Earth – contested perennially, the city which God loves eternally, the place from which heavenly protocol is to be sent to each and every dwelling place on Earth. There is no other honourable calling proposed to man… Ours is the privilege to take on the On-High calling of Heaven. For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until its righteousness shall go forth as brightness, and its salvation as a lamp that burneth.
