On the flight just now, I chitchat with a 50 odd man next to me. Got to know that he is a businessman and he has a 27-yr-old son. Felt a bit awkward when he said his son is not staying with him because he couldnt get along well. Upon further conversation, his son is staying at a 4-Million house that this man bought for him. The reason this man could not get along with his son is that his son always soaks himself with computer games and does not want to work. What actually shocked me was that he is giving 10~20k allowance monthly to his son to spend. Arghhh....no wonder his son doesnt want to work. Sadly this man admitted he spoiled his son..... So whether you have a lot or not so much of money, the idea of loving your kids with money or material things is not going to bring your kid(s) to maturity and independence. Instead in worst scenario, your kids life can be ruined....
