On this day, 1 year ago, I began an upexpected journey. I had my delivery all planned out. I was prepared and experienced...or so I thought. My little NO NAME baby took us all by surprise by being the sick one and sending us all into a frenzy! I have never been so scared as I was one year ago today. 5 nights and 7 days in the UK NICU later. I saw things that I can never unsee there. BUT I now know how to truly be thankful to God for the health of my children. I am so incredibly thankful to God for my beautiful, smart, healthy Declan Kain. God has surely blessed me. Happy Birthday baby boy! You completed our family and we love your guts!!!!
