On this day 5 years ago James The Rev Sullivan was taken from this world. We all miss you more and more everyday. Its not easy having the man who was your inspiration the person who inspired you to start playing drums taken away from you. Jimmy was an amazing drummer and songwriter and will always be remembered as someone who invented many techniques and was ambitious with his music. He was one of the best modern metal drummers and a inspiration to many. I have so much to say but your so far away This is a story of a man who conquered life, drink in hand For every song theres a light from our Saint James Cry alone Ive gone away, no more nights no more pain. Ive gone alone took all my strength, Ive made the change; I wont see you tonight I know youll find your own way when Im not with you I have to question, whats with the violent aggression, detaols blurry, lost him to early, welcome to the family Seize the Day or die regretting the time you lost, Its empty and cold without you here, to many people to ache over Jimmy wasnt just Avenged Sevenfolds drummer he was part of a family, The Avenged Sevenfold Family, he was Matt Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, Synester Gates, Johnny Christs brother.
