On this day...March 30, 1913...Disney Animator/Imagineer/Walts Nine Old Men/Disney Legend, Marc Davis is born. Marc joined Disney in December 2, 1935 and in the late spring of 1936 moved as an assistant animator. Marc created memorable characters as Maleficent, Alice, Cruella De Vil, Thumper, young Bambi, Brer Rabbit and his most loved Tinker Bell. Marc married his bride Alice Estes (Disney Legend) on June 1956. Later, Walt had Marc moved to WED Enterprise to work on character attractions concepts for Disneyland USA and the 1964-65 New York Worlds Fair. After 43 years of service to the Mouse, Marc retired in 1978. Sadly, Marc passed away on January 12, 2000 at the young age of 86. Marc would be 101 years young.
