Once there was only darkness... Rust says as he looks up into the night sky while staggering out of the hospital. But if you ask me, the stars are winning. I dont get much video time but I managed to watch True Detective recently. This quote is from the end of the series. Rust, played by Matthew McConaughey is dark and driven...obsessed with justice and unraveling a mystery. This line has bounced around in my brain for the last few days. There are moments when things seem so disordered and chaotic and dark...but Rust is right. The stars are winning. Light is always breaking through.
