One of my favourite lectures is Humour, Health and Magic. I talk - TopicsExpress

One of my favourite lectures is Humour, Health and Magic. I talk about laughter as therapy and magic as a hobby to distract from misery. I constantly look for fresh, currently appropriate jokes to use in that presentation and have been struggling somewhat since George Bush, Sarah Palin and the wonderful Dan Quayle left the scene. How can you beat the brilliance of If we dont succeed, we run the risk of failure? Ive had to rely on some Bidenisms like Folks, I can tell you Ive known eight presidents, three of them intimately. Not bad, but not side-splitting. And then, merci beaucoup, Pauline comes along. Yes, we will fire civil servants who refuse to remove any headgear that smack of religion, she admits, but we will find them jobs in the private sector. HaHaHaHa...would that be the private sector that is being decimated by the PQ policies? I think this beats Palins remark that Alaskas proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience. But I think Quayle is still ahead of Pauline. After all he did come up with the classic I deserve respect for the things I did not do. Pauline is quickly closing the gap though and I suspect we may be privy to a few gems before Tuesday.
