One of the best EAGLES songs ever........... Love the Eagles and this, in my opinion is Don Henley at his best :-) When I worked at Century Marketing, the VP of the company, who was a drummer in a local band, told me that back in the day, he knew Don Henley personally. I asked him if he had any regrets about getting out of the band and the music scene, he told me no, he knew if he had stayed he would be dead by now. Sadly, several years later, he did die of brain cancer :-/ I adored that man, he was one of the best of the best who worked there for sure, I am sure the salesmen thought so too. The place was never the same after his death. And this is one of the greatest and most meaningful songs ever..............FORGIVENESS.............that is what sets each of us FREE...... That is the greatest gift we can give ourselves
